Merry Christmas to all the alumni and their families...especially to our class of 1964!!

Just saw on the Rahway channel there is something in town that many might like to see. If you live in Rahway, or are in the area of Rahway tomorrow, Thursday , December 6th between 7 and 9PM, stop by the Union County Performing Arts Theater (Rahway Theater to you and me) and take in a Lloyd Garrison Art show. That's right....Lloyd Garrison Art Show from 7-9PM at the old theater. I'm sure it will be time well spent and a delight to the eyes. Check it out.

Jeff Willims a 1965 rahway grad died this week. I understand that he was a Viet Nam veteran.

So sorry to hear about Sandy Zwiebel's death . My sincere condolences to Joe and her family and friends . The memory of her kindness lives on .

Any member of the class of 1951 have a list of our friends that passed away,  On the fourm there is only a couple of names listed. If someone could e-mail me a list I will try to get it posted. I think their names should be honored on here.  Larry Ryan, class of 1951

I am just curious why more Rahway graduates do not  use this web sight??  I checked the messages every day and really surprised why more people don't send messages.  My class of "61 had over 600 graduates and I don't see anything from any of them!!  Do people not care anymore?????

Benny Doyle passed away on March 9th. Benny was an  inspiration to all of us who knew him. His smile radiated through the halls. His soft voice and mannerisms reflected Ben's unique "style". I can still see him taking those long slow strides as he went to class with his head tilted to the side.  He was unique in his kindness and his caring for others. Ben was an outstanding student as well as an athelete. His focus was to do his best at all times and that was refected in his character. 
          Ben was a man of faith. As Christians we believe the words spoken by our Lord, " I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, even if he die, shall live; and whoever lives and believes in me, shall never die." It is a fine line that separates the night from the light of a newborn day. Surely Ben has seen that dawning of that new Day.

Hi to my fellow classmates '70.  Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.

I was saddened to learn recently of the death of a good friend I have known since childhood. FRED CARMODY passed away on June 2nd, 2011. He was a member of the class of 1961, living with his wife in Florida and practicing law with a well established firm. My condolences go to his entire family. I'll miss you Fred!

Trying to touch base with anyone that would have graduated in 1986.  I went to Madison School and left during 1st grade.  Hope life has treated everyone well. 

Hi again to the class of 1962....Perhaps I did let you know in my last message that this ALL CLASS REUNION will be a combination of he all class and the class of 1962's 50th. It is so much better doing it this way in September.  The turn out is not always so great when we try to do just our class so even if we can fill 5 tables (40 people) that would be just as nice.  If you are in touch with other, please let them know about this so they can join us.  I posted the announcement of classmates and on facebook....so far we have about 1 1/2 tables filled.....with people that are interested...we need more....Please reach out to others and spread the word about the Sept event...it will be so nice. 

To the Class of 1962......I have not had a great response yet to the message I posted regarding the Sept 2011 All Class Reunion get together.  I have heard from about 8 or so people that they have an interest in attending, but would like to hear from a lot more.  Also, please touch base with more people that you all may be in contact with and spread the word. I will also post the message on facebook with many of our classmates as well.

There will be an All Class Reunion held Friday, Sept 23, 2011 at the Gran Centurians in Clark NJ (more info will be posted on this site) It will be first come first serve since the seating is limited.  If anyone is interested in this event, please email me.  This Class Reunion may be our only way of getting to see each other.  Not sure if any other reunion for our class will take place after this.

Happy New Year to my friend's / Class of '71 !  I may be getting old, but I stayed out until "last call" New years Day.  Hit 4 bars, left the 3rd one early- broke into a kareoke contest, started doing a standup comedy routine, which was not appropriate, according to the bar manager.  Argued my point and was asked to leave....... ( cab ride to next bar).  All in fun.  I will now live quietly until next New Years.

My wonderful sister, Claire, Class of '62, led me to this site.  I think it is great!  Since I moved to Florida in 1969, I have really been out of touch with my old NJ roots. 
 
I can remember some of the wonderful things you all talk about, but many are very fuzzy memories .... dances at St. Mary's, going for pizza afterwards, shopping at Marks-Harris & pinball championships at Jack's Sweet Shop are among my favorites. 

Will never forget the classmates in "Not Forgotten", especially Judy Ailinger.  Mrs. Aszman should also be included, best English teacher in the universe.  

Best wishes in 2009 to all RHS classmates, especially the Class of '58.

The reunion committee is meeting to plan a 55th reunion in the fall of 2009 in the Rahway area.  Hope we hear from all interested in being there for another fun time.  Remember we are not getting older just better.  See you then!!
