I am glad that this web site is such a success. Just think about it: we are number one! On the THEN Photo, I refused to wear a teased style hair do. Therefore, this was taken a year later. On the NOW side, that is me. Now I am teasing my hair! I am making a few changes in my life now. As a young widow, I stopped using my husband's name for a while. Feeling sentimental in my olden years, now I will include it again. |

Hi ya'll. I am the one on the left. That's what 17 years in nuclear plant refueling will do to you plus the 3 months in Sweden. Julie and I have been married for 20 years.(she just turned 44). Hope to make it for the reunion. Maybe they will let me out of detox by then.

To me, Donna Schweitzer always epitomized class, elegance and taste. Additionally, she was very sweet, kind and absolutely gorgeous. I had a crush on her for years. Finally, I got up the “nerve” to ask to accompany me to the 1964 RHS Thanksgiving football game. I expected to get “shot down.” To my surprise, she said “yes.” Luckily, I was wearing brown pants!

What a great website! Thanks to all who have created it.My life - short version - Went to Newark College of Engineering (NCE), grad in '69. Moved to Massachusetts to work for GE on government contracts. We were sold several times and I retired from General Dynamics in 2001- a month before 911. I met my future wife Carol in college (Newark State Teacher's College, now Kean University) and we were married 2 days after her college graduation in 1970. Have two children, Becky (1974) and David (1976). Becky has two children, Camden and Julia. My son David lives in Telluride, CO. - ski country. We live in Pittsfield, MA (western MA, in the Berkshire mountains). We are sailors and keep a sailboat in Narragansett Bay, RI. We are busy with church activities, grandchildren, and sailing. I would love to hear from anyone with whom I went to class. |

I have been the "Copy Chief" of Parade magazine since 1981 (I'm on the second line of the masthead)and have been an editor at the magazine since 1975. I've been married to my second wife, Ruth, since 1977 and have lived in West Windsor, N.J. (near {Princeton) since 1982. So you can see what an adventurous and impetuous guy I am. I still play the sax in two bands and I still draw when I get the chance, but I''m a lot better than when I did that horrible picture of JFK in our 1964 yearbook. Oh, I have two daughters and two granddaughters, one of them now a senior in high school. Boy, do I feel old.
